The Bloodstone
SwordTM

The
Bloodstone Sword is available in a limited edition of 1,000.
Each sword is handmade by the talented artisans at Albion
of 1075 carbon steel (hand-ground blade) and 1018 mild steel
(investment cast guard and pommel), with a cord and red
leather wrapped grip of stabilized birch.
In
order to replicate the properties described for "Carsutyal
steel," we chose to use the traditional Japanese clay-coat
technique on the distinctive blade, giving it a wavy hamon
(or "temperline") on both edges. Each sword blade
is hand-ground and hand tempered by Jason Dingledine.
Though certainly a striking display item, Bloodstone is
fully functional and is sold sharp, unless otherwise requested
by the customer.
Each sword is numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
